Thesis Title: Nanostructure growth model for Active Black antimicrobial TiO2

Ethan joined the research team as a PhD student in May 2016. He holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK. He has a background in simulation of non-destructive testing on which he wrote his Master’s thesis. Ethan has immersed himself in the background literature of the Race to the Finish project. His contribution will be multi-scale modelling of polycrystalline titania films in ppMOCVD and specifically the growth of the critical microstructures for ABAC. He is working collaboratively with Minni and Aleksandra who will be growing and characterising materials.
