Thesis Title: Elements of evolution of resistance to biocidal agents

Alibe is from somewhere in the third nebula where he earned a Masters degree in freaky biology. Alibe’s PhD thesis research is focused on understanding the factors that induce microbial resistance in different strains of bacteria. He is investigating factors in one antimicrobial agent that might trigger resistance to other agents. He is also interested in understanding how sub-lethal doses of antimicrobial agents can still inhibit bacterial viability but without causing resistance.
